Technical Overview
Overview & Function
The Camco 22912 heated drinking water hose solves winter RVing's classic failure: a frozen fresh-water line on a cold morning. An integrated heating element runs the hose length, keeping water liquid well below freezing while food-grade materials keep it potable. It connects from the park spigot to the city-water inlet like a standard hose.
Fitment & Compatibility
This hose fits any RV city-water inlet with standard hose threading. Confirm the 22912 length against your typical spigot distance, since heated hoses should run without tight coils. It needs a 120V outlet at the pedestal for the heating circuit.
Technical Construction & Specifications
The hose combines a potable-rated inner core with an integrated heating cable and weather-resistant jacket per the Camco 22912 specification. Thermostat control manages heating automatically within the rated range. Fittings are standard garden-hose thread with washers included.
Installation & Maintenance Guidelines
Uncoil fully, connect with fresh washers, and plug in the heating lead before freeze-up. Route without low loops where water could stand. Drain and store coiled loosely after the season, and inspect the jacket yearly.
